• Uploaded files — PDF construction plans you upload for estimation.
• Estimate data — Results generated from your uploads, including cost breakdowns and classifications.
• Payment information — Processed securely by Stripe. We never see or store your credit card numbers.
• Usage data — Standard web analytics including IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and operate the BidScope estimating service.
• To process payments for detailed estimate upgrades.
• To send you verification codes and service-related communications via SMS.
• To improve our AI models and estimation accuracy (using anonymized, aggregated data only).
• To respond to support requests.

3. File Uploads

Your uploaded construction plans are stored securely on our servers for the purpose of generating estimates. We do not share your files with third parties. Uploaded files are automatically deleted after 90 days, or sooner upon your request.

4. Payment Processing

All payment transactions are handled by Stripe. BidScope does not collect, store, or have access to your credit card numbers. Stripe's privacy policy governs the handling of your payment data.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share data only with:

• Stripe — For payment processing.
• Twilio — For sending SMS verification codes.

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights.

6. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures including SSL/TLS encryption for all data in transit, secure server infrastructure, and access controls to protect your information. However, no system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
